Wender Collective is a globally inclusive arts & performance collective with a decades-long history of generative experimentation. Originally a Chicago theater company known as “Walkabout Theater" focusing on the creation of site-specific and devised works, we are proud to re-introduce ourselves to Night Out in the Parks under our new name and identity. As a broad collective of artists, creators and teachers engaged in artistic, cultural, social, and ecological actions, we aim to holistically reconnect these divided pursuits of humanity. Wender applies years of ensemble-based somatic practice and interdisciplinary performance research to cultivate enchantment through place-based creative provocations.
